ACIPの見解
米国疾病管理予防センター(CDC)に設置されている、予防接種の実施に関する諮問委員会 Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)では、今年もインフルエンザワクチンに関する情報を公開しています。

2015-2016年シーズンの勧告 *2 はこちらのCDCウェブサイト *3 に公開されています。
米国の勧告ですが、委員会はワクチンメーカーの利益には影響されないよう配慮されており、科学的根拠をよく吟味した上での勧告となっていることが特徴です。
2015-16年シーズンの推奨
こどものインフルエンザワクチンの部分を一部引用したいと思います。
For 2015–16, ACIP recommends that children aged 6 months through 8 years who have previously received ≥2 total doses of trivalent or quadrivalent influenza vaccine before July 1, 2015, require only 1 dose for 2015–16. The two previous doses need not have been given during the same season or consecutive seasons. Children in this age group who have not previously received a total of ≥2 doses of trivalent or quadrivalent influenza vaccine before July 1, 2015 require 2 doses for 2015–16. The interval between the 2 doses should be at least 4 weeks (Figure 1).
つまり、以下の条件では1回接種のみでよい、とあります。
- 2015年6月30日までに2回以上接種したことのある6か月から8歳までの人は、今シーズンは1回接種でよい。
- 過去に2回以上接種していない6か月から8歳までの人は、今シーズン2回接種 *4 が必要。
- 9歳以上は1回接種でよい。

1回接種の根拠
では、この根拠となっているのはどんな研究でしょうか。
6か月から8歳までの初回接種は2回接種を推奨する、という研究は2研究 *5 *6 が引用されています。
条件によっては1回接種が推奨されることは、この研究 *7 が引用されています。実際に、非ランダム化オープン試験で1回接種と2回接種の抗体価を比較した研究となっています。
ワクチンの論文は若干読みにくいですが、時間があるときにでも確認しておきたいところです。
